Treatment Approach

Jacqui is passionate about providing a range of evidenced-based treatments to clients through a trauma and attachment-informed lens.  Rather than working on presenting issues she prefers to work deeply with clients to uncover the underlying patterns driving symptoms.  This has led Jacqui to become trained and qualified in creative psychotherapy as well as having completed basic training in EMDR along with Structural Dissociation training within the EMDR framework.

Jacqui focuses on building a therapeutic relationship with clients using a warm and individually-tailored approach.  She cares about getting to know her clients and approaching them with a curious, non-judgmental, and supportive manner.  She enjoys using creative approaches with clients to engage all areas of the brain and psyche.

Jacqui engages in regular professional development and consultation.  She is a firm believer in work/life balance and engages in regular self-care activities, mindfulness practice, and her own personal self-reflection.
