Emma Nissen,
Early Childhood Professional & Director of Inspiring Play

Emma from Inspiring Play will be providing assessments and interventions to families of young children at Evolve Psychology Sunshine Coast.

Emma is passionate about working with young children and supporting their early development. She has a special interest in neurodiversity and play-based learning. Emma is creative and enjoys bringing a sense of joy and playfulness to her early intervention support sessions.

She values fostering collaborative partnerships with families, educators and therapy teams. Emma uses a family-centred, evidence-based and holistic approach to early intervention.

She has worked in the early intervention space for the past five years. Prior to this, Emma worked as an Early Childhood Teacher for over 15 years. She holds a Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood and a Bachelor of Arts – Visual Arts. Emma is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Creative Therapies at CDU.

The services Emma is able to provide include assistance with early intervention NDIS applications and ongoing support of family with this funding.  She is able to provide early intervention services and assist families to navigate the NDIS system in order to best meet their children’s developmental needs.
